One-time purchase · No subscription · No ads · No watermark
Why people pick FrameGrab
Most video tools treat stills as an afterthought. FrameGrab is built around them.
Real batch extraction
Capture up to 100 frames in one run — by fixed interval or by frame rate, across a start and end point you choose, with live progress and pause or cancel whenever you need.
Millisecond precision
Type an exact timecode in hh:mm:ss.SSS, or step through the video one frame at a time with press-and-hold arrows. The frame you meant is the frame you get.
Professional export controls
Choose JPG or PNG, set the quality slider, and export at original resolution, 1080p or 720p. Save your preferred defaults once and every new task uses them.
Private by design
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no servers. Your videos are decoded on your iPhone and never uploaded — the app works in airplane mode.
Share into FrameGrab
Found the video in another app? Use its share sheet and pick FrameGrab — the video opens straight on the extraction screen, with no re-importing.
Manage results properly
A grid with timecodes, multi-select and select all, batch save to Photos with automatic retry, sorting, swipe to delete, and a full-screen viewer with pinch-to-zoom.
Three taps to a perfect still
No timeline, no project files, no learning curve.

Common questions
Is FrameGrab a subscription?
No. It is a one-time purchase. No subscription, no recurring charge, no in-app purchases and no ads.
Do my videos leave my device?
Never. Decoding, extraction and saving all run on your device using Apple's frameworks. There is no upload, no account and no server-side storage.
Are the exported images really full quality?
Yes. Frames are decoded at the source video's resolution — not a screenshot of the screen. You can also deliberately scale the output to 1080p or 720p when a smaller file is more useful.
How many frames can I extract at once?
Up to 100 frames per run, which keeps each batch predictable in time, memory and storage. Need more? Run the next section of the video as a second batch — everything lands in the same gallery.
Does it work offline?
Completely. FrameGrab needs no network access at all.
Does it edit or convert video?
No. FrameGrab exports still images only — it does not trim, record, re-encode or convert video.
