Port Scan Go is an offline network utility. We designed it so that your data never leaves your device. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Summary: Port Scan Go collects no personal data, has no user accounts, contains no advertising or third-party analytics, and performs no requests to any server. Everything the app does happens locally on your iPhone or iPad.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. Specifically:

No name, email address, phone number, or contact information is required or collected.
No account or sign-in is required to use the app.
No usage analytics, crash telemetry, or advertising identifiers are collected.
No location data is collected.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

To provide its features, the app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Scan history (targets, discovered hosts, open ports and timestamps).
Your app preferences, such as language and light/dark theme.

This data is kept in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded, and it is removed when you delete the app. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Clear history.

3. Network Activity

The app uses your device's network connection solely to scan hosts on your local network (for example, your home or office Wi-Fi). It sends standard TCP connection attempts to the IP addresses you choose to scan. It does not contact any external server, and scan results are never transmitted off the device.

4. Local Network Permission (iOS)

iOS asks for permission to access your local network. This permission is required so the app can reach devices on your LAN. It is used only for the scanning features you start, and it does not allow the app to identify you or send data anywhere.

5. Sharing and Exports

You may export scan results as a CSV file or send feedback by email. When you do, the app opens your device's standard share sheet or mail composer. Nothing is shared automatically — a share or email only happens when you explicitly choose to initiate it. Feedback emails are sent from your own email account to supportbx@163.com, and we receive only what you choose to include.

6. Third Parties

Port Scan Go contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking. We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

8. Data Security

Because the app does not transmit your data, there is no server-side database to breach. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security, such as passcode and encryption.

9. Your Choices

Clear all locally stored data at any time via Settings → Clear history.
Delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
