Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect nothing. ScanPDF Pro has no registration, no sign-in and no user profile. We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, location data, usage statistics, diagnostics or crash reports.

2. Permissions the app asks for

• Camera — used only to photograph the documents you choose to scan. The images are processed on your device and are never sent anywhere.
• Photo Library — used only when you decide to import existing pictures. The app reads the images you select and nothing else.

Both permissions are optional: you can use the app with photos alone, or with the camera alone. You can revoke them at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Where your documents live

• PDF files are written to the app's own folder inside your device's document storage. This folder is visible from the Files app, in the local storage of your device, under “ScanPDF Pro”.
• Scanned and edited images are kept in the app's cache folder while a scan is in progress or still in the queue. iOS may clear this folder when storage runs low.
• History records (file name, creation time and page count — never the document contents) are stored in a local database on your device.

All of this stays on your device. Deleting the app, or clearing history and the scan queue inside the app, removes this data.

4. Network access

ScanPDF Pro works fully offline and does not require an internet connection at any point. The app does not upload your documents or your personal information to us or to any third party.

5. Third-party services

The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics services, no social media SDKs and no third-party data collection tools of any kind.

6. Sharing and exporting

Your documents only leave the app when you actively share, export or open them — for example through the iOS share sheet, or by opening the PDF in another app. In that case, the app you choose handles the file under its own privacy policy.

7. Backups

If you have iCloud Backup or a computer backup enabled for your device, iOS may include the app's document folder in that backup, in the same way it backs up other apps' files. That backup is created and controlled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us. You can turn device backups off in iOS Settings.

8. Children's privacy

The app is safe for all ages: it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date shown at the top. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
