Privacy Policy
Pallet Master is built as a private, offline tool. It does not collect, transmit or sell your data.
Effective date: September 15, 2026
1. Who we are
Pallet Master ("the app") is an offline pallet loading calculator and 3D stacking planner for iPhone and iPad, distributed through the Apple App Store. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app. The data controller is the developer of Pallet Master, contactable at supportbx@163.com.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, request or process any of the following:
- Name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Account credentials — the app has no login of any kind
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA) or precise location
- Contacts, calendars, photos you did not create in the app, or health data
- Usage analytics, behaviour tracking, crash telemetry sent to us, or advertising profiles
- Your business data: pallet specs, carton dimensions, weights, shipment quantities, reports
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no social login and no crash-reporting service operated by us. Because nothing is transmitted to us, nothing can be sold, rented or shared with third parties.
3. Information stored on your device
The app saves the following on your device only, using the operating system's local app storage:
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your last used parameters (carrier, pallet, carton size and weight, advanced settings, calculation mode) | So the app reopens where you left off | Local app storage on your device |
| Saved stacking plans and their thumbnails in History | So you can reopen a plan and recalculate it later | Local app storage on your device |
| App preferences (language, light/dark appearance) | To respect your settings | Local app storage on your device |
This information never leaves your device through the app. You are in full control of it:
- Delete an individual plan from the History screen.
- Erase all of it at once from Settings → Clear app data.
- Deleting the app from your device removes all of its data.
4. Device permissions
The app asks only for the permissions it actually needs, and only when a feature requires them:
| Permission | When it is requested | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Photos / Add to Photo Library | When you tap the camera button to capture the 3D view | Saving that screenshot into your own photo library. The app does not read or browse your existing photos. |
Permission is optional. If you decline it, every other part of the app continues to work normally, and you can change the choice at any time in iOS Settings. The app does not access the device camera, microphone or location.
5. Network activity
The core of the app — stacking calculation, all built-in standards and the 3D renderer — runs entirely on your device and requires no connection. The app itself does not send your data anywhere.
Two features leave the app, and both are started by you:
- Share / Print a PDF worksheet. The PDF is generated on your device. It only leaves the app when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet, and the handling of it is then governed by that destination's own privacy policy.
- Send feedback by email. The app hands a pre-filled message to your device's mail app. Nothing is transmitted until you press send, and the message travels through your own email provider, not through us.
Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymised App Store statistics (for example, total downloads and crash counts) as part of normal App Store operations. That reporting is controlled by Apple and its own privacy policy, and it does not identify you to us.
6. International transfers
We do not transfer your information internationally, because we do not receive your information in the first place. All app data remains on the device where it was created.
7. Children's privacy
The app is a professional tool intended for adults working in logistics, warehousing and shipping. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete on your behalf.
You remain in complete control of the information the app stores: it sits on your own device, and you can remove it at any time from Settings → Clear app data or by deleting the app. If you believe we hold information about you, email us at supportbx@163.com and we will respond.
9. Security
The strongest protection for data that does not exist is that it cannot be lost or misused. Because the app transmits nothing, your stacking plans and shipment details are exposed only to whatever security already protects your device. We recommend keeping iOS up to date and using a device passcode.
10. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app introduces a feature that changes how data is handled — for example an optional cloud backup — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, the effective date above will be revised, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
