The short version
We do not collect any personal data. At all.
- The app works entirely offline and makes no network requests.
- There are no accounts, no logins, no advertising and no analytics.
- There are no third-party SDKs, trackers or advertising identifiers.
- Your cargo dimensions, names and saved plans stay on your device.
1. Who we are
This policy describes how the iOS application 3D Load Calculator (bundle identifier com.barretxiongsteam.loadcalculator, referred to below as "the app") handles information. The app is developed and published by an independent developer, who is the data controller for the limited processing described here.

2. Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app has no server component, no user accounts and no network communication of any kind.

3. Information stored on your device
The app keeps the following in its private, app-local storage so that it works the way you expect between launches. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by other apps:
- Cargo entries and container choices currently being edited.
- Saved plans that you deliberately add to the history.
- Preferences such as your selected language and light or dark theme.
You are in full control of this data. Removing it is immediate and permanent:
- Open Settings → Data → Clear All Records to erase every saved plan and reset the current inputs.
- Deleting the app from your device removes all app-local data.
4. Permissions the app may request

No other permission — location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, Bluetooth, tracking — is requested or used.
5. Third-party services and SDKs
The app bundles no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or marketing SDKs. Because there is no network activity, no data is sent to us or to any third party by the app.
Two things sit outside the app and are governed by their own terms:
- The App Store. Apple may collect information related to your purchase, download and installation. That processing is described in Apple's own privacy policy and is outside our control.
- Your email provider. If you choose to email us, your provider and ours process that message in the ordinary way. We use your message only to answer you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
6. Children's privacy
The app is a professional planning tool intended for business and trade use. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect information from children or from anyone else.
7. Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar laws give you rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection regarding personal data held about you. Because the app collects no personal data and holds nothing on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export or erase on your behalf — the only copy of your app data is on your own device and is entirely under your control.
Where a legal basis is relevant at all, it is our legitimate interest in providing a tool that functions without gathering information about you. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
8. Data retention and security
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your data is protected by the security model of iOS: app-local storage is sandboxed and encrypted at rest when your device is locked with a passcode. We recommend keeping a device passcode and current iOS updates enabled.
9. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app introduces a feature that changes how information is handled — for example an optional cloud sync — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
